In today's world of digitisation, activities like banking, shopping, ordering food and booking tickets can all be done online. The service has not only made life easier for people but also increased the ease and reachability of the consumers. However, with digitisation comes technical glitches that can upset the online facility.

A passenger was faced with a similar problem while booking a flight ticket for himself online. Due to a technical glitch, the booking site of the concerned airline showed the destination and arrival terminals of the same place.

Auditya Venkatesh was in the process of booking an AirAsia flight from Hyderabad to Bengaluru when the confirmation popup showed that the ticket was being booked from Bengaluru to Bengaluru. After failed repeated tries Auditya post his query on Twitter to seek a solution to his problem from the airline.

"Hi @AirAsiaIndia this is really confusing. So if I book this ticket, where will I really go? And where will I leave from?" read the caption of his post on the micro-blogging site.

While Venkatesh wanted to book the flight from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, the popup at one point of time showed that the destination was Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International airport in Kolkata.

After the query was shared on Twitter, AirAsia responded saying, "There might be a technical glitch. Kindly refresh the page and do the fresh booking."

But the issue did not seem to get resolved as Auditya replied, "The fact that it’s a glitch is obvious. It did the same thing again, it was to edit an existing booking via the chrome browser on an Android phone. It still keeps showing the same thing. I still went ahead and booked it, because it was a last-minute change. Fingers crossed."
