A video of a group of men gathering in the middle of a road to celebrate a friend's birthday in Greater Noida has surfaced on social media. The video showed one of the men brandishing a gun as the birthday boy cut the cake on a car's bonnet. The man also fired shots from the gun.

A user who shared the video wrote, "UP: Firing during birthday celebration in Greater Noida, cake cut on the bonnet of the car, goons fired from pistols and celebrated, no fear of law or fear of police; the viral video is from the Jewar police station area."

Recently, the Assistant Superintendent at Delhi's Tihar Jail, Deepak Sharma, was suspended after he was seen dancing while brandishing a pistol in a viral video. In the video, he was seen dancing to the Bollywood song 'Khalnayak Hoon Main' with a pistol in his hand, along with three others. Sharma pointed the gun at the man in front of him before moving it down a few seconds later.

The prison department had initiated an inquiry in this case. In a statement, the jail officials had said, "A video that recently went viral on social media has caught the attention of the Prison Department, Delhi. Now, Department after carefully reviewing, decided to take immediate action in response to the viral video and suspended Deepak Sharma, Assistant Superintendent, presently posted in Mandoli Central Jail No. 15.".

Earlier this year, a woman was seen cutting a birthday cake with a pistol inside a club in Delhi's Punjabi Bagh road, a video of which went viral on social media. The owner of the club was immediately summoned to the police station for a probe into the matter. "On being questioned, the club owner produced a toy-lighter-pistol, which, he said, they give to customers to light candles when they celebrate birthdays," police said.
