The 20-year-old from Ohio, who has over 37 million subscribers, is impressing both fans and officials by fully embracing Chinese culture. His live videos from Beijing and Shanghai have even received praise from Chinese state media for promoting cultural exchange between the U.S. and China.

Speed’s six-hour-long streams are hugely popular, gaining nearly 10 million views. He has done everything from attempting a daring backflip on the Great Wall to exploring the Forbidden City, trying street food, and playing basketball and ping-pong with locals. His fearless approach and high energy make his content fun to watch.

One of his most talked-about moments in China was his Kung Fu training. Before learning Kung Fu, Speed went to the Great Wall of China and did the backflip on it. Later, he wore a traditional martial arts outfit and a bald cap to look like a Shaolin monk. What started as a fun lesson turned into a real test of strength when instructors broke sticks over his body. As always, Speed’s dramatic reactions made the moment even more entertaining for his fans.
