Nagaland’s Tourism and Higher Education Minister Temjen Imna Along, who is known for his unique sense of humour and engaging social media posts, shared a video of himself struggling to get off a muddy pond.
The post he shared on X, read, "Aaj JCB ka Test tha! [Today was JCB's test] Note: It's all about NCAP Rating, Gadi Kharidney Se Pehley NCAP Rating Jarur Dekhe. Kyunki Yeh Aapke Jaan Ka Mamla Hain [Before buying a car, definitely check the NCAP rating. Because it is a matter of your life]!!"
Inma Along is seen struggling to climb out himself from a muddy pond. A person can be seen pushing him from behind, while two others endeavour to pull him out from the front. Despite their efforts, the minister continues to slip in the wet mud. He takes a break for a moment before making another attempt, eventually managing to emerge from the slosh. He finally thanked the people who helped him out of the pond.
The video which one posted on Saturday morning, has garnered over 2 lakh views and over 13,000 likes.
What is NCAP?
In 2022, the Global New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) introduced new protocols aimed at testing the safety standards of cars.
Now, India has its own car testing program, Bharat NCAP, and many cars available for sale in the country have undergone testing by the Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP) as part of its 'Safer Cars for India' campaign.
