Food lovers across the world experiment with different recipes in order to come up with a dish that is different and tastes great. But in that process, there are some really bizarre ideas that people try to implement. A picture of a cup of chai, the Indian beverage, shared on social media has gone viral for its unusual colour. Tea lovers across the country are not happy with the twist given to their favourite drink.
It all started after a picture of a cup of tea with a sandwich besides it was shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter by Rahul Verma. As soon as it was shared Twitter users took to the comments box to dislike the colour of the tea and called it super milky.
"Good morning, morning tea. Aap ke yahan chai ko kya bolte hain (What do you call tea in your region)?" reads the caption of the post that accumulated 96.8k views since being shared on the micro-blogging site.
The post was also flooded with several comments disliking the colour of the tea.
"Sir aap ko bhi Chai bol kar Horlicks thoosa ja raha hai? I did that to my kids all their childhood,' wrote a Twitter user in the comments.
"Hum toh chai ko chai bolte hai par ye doodh hai bhai," wrote another user.
"Chai ko bhi filter laga ke safed kar diya," wrote a third.
"Ye chai hai? Ye aisi hai jese bachpan me mom milk me ek spoon chai milakar usko chai bolkar deti thi…" wrote a fourth.
