Have you ever lost or misplaced your belonging while trvelling in a metro, bus or a train? The chances of being able to find it is mostly bleak. But a heartwarming post shared on the microblogging site Twitter by a user detailing how a taxi driver in New Delhi went the extra mile and returned his mobile he had forgotten in the cab.
Ultra Runner and fitness coach Shajan Samuel took to microblogging site Twitter to share the inspiring story. He also heaped praises on the driver, identified as Hiralal Mondal. According to the post, Samuel had booked a taxi from Meru Cabs at Delhi’s IGI Airport. And after being dropped at the hotel, Samuel's friend Vivek lost his phone in the cab and they didn’t have the driver’s number. But to their surprise, Mondal came to the hotel to return the phone.
"We booked Meru Cabs at Delhi Airport yesterday late evening. My colleague Vivek lost his phone in the cab we didn't have the driver's number , we thought we were never going to get the phone back, and gave up hopes,but to our surprise Hiralal Mondal the driver came to the hotel with the phone. @MeruCabs Employees like Hiralal are an Asset to your company,Hiralal has done this before as well, when a foreigner lost his wallet , he returned that back too. Humanity is in his blood. Pls take good care of him."
Since being shared, the video has amassed 209.4k views, 2,703 likes and tons of comments.
