A video has surfaced online in which a man is seen barging into a rooftop cafe and brutally assaulting his son in front of the customers seated there. The clip of the incident has gone viral and sparked a debate about parenting and discipline among social media users. The father was reportedly infuriated with the boy after he informed his parents about heading to his coaching classes but was found socialising at the cafe with his friends.

In the clip, the man is seen confronting his son and yelling, "Kya bola tha?" (What did you say?), while continuously striking the boy. The man also inquire about his friends in the group and subject them to physical discipline as well. As all this happens, people sitting there watch in surprise.
Since being shared, the clip has amassed over 6 lakh views, and tons of varied comments.
