India and Israel not only share strong political ties but also deep cultural relations. India has welcomed Jews for several centuries and their contribution, in turn, has enriched Indian culture. Strengthening this bond further, the Israeli Embassy in India took to social media on Thursday to wish Indians on Hindi Diwas by sharing a video of Israeli Ambassador to India Naor Gilon and other diplomats enacting scenes from popular Bollywood films in Hindi.

Sharing the video on X, formerly Twitter, the Israeli Embassy in the caption writes in Hindi, which when translated to English reads, "Lights, Camera, Action! Best wishes to #हिंदी_दिवस ! #हिंदी Hindi cinema is the most entertaining way to learn Hindi. @israelinindia has presented its favourite dialogues from Hindi cinema in an acting manner on this occasion. Which dialogue did you like the most?."

The clip opens to show Israeli Ambassador to India Naor Gilon enacting Amitabh Bachchan's scene from the Yash Chopra directed film Mohabbaten, released in the year 2000. Then comes Hagar Spiro-Tal, Israeli political advisor, who presents the dialogue "ek chutki sindoor" of Deepika Padukone from the film Om Shanti Om. A few more diplomats come in and present their favourite dialogues in Hindi from popular Bollywood films.
