Gujarati folk singer Urvashi Radadiya is extremely popular in the state. She is revered by her fans and her performances usually go full house. A video of Radadiya performing in Kutch has gone viral in which she is being showered with a bucketful of cash by the organisers and people in the audience.


In the clip shared on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, by news agency ANI, Radadiya is seen performing with other musicians while sitting on a stage strewn with cash. As she continues singing with other musicians, a few people standing in front of the stage continues to shower currency notes on her. In the one minute seven second clip, people continue to shower cash on Radadiya, who does not seem bothered by the gesture of the organisers as she crushes off the money from her harmonium to continue with her performance.


According to the ANI post, the money collected during the event will be used for the work of Gaushala.






Since being shared, the video has amassed close to 30,000 views and tons of comments.
