X is a place where anything is possible, and in today's episode of Anything That Can Happen on X, we have Indian national football team goalkeeper and captain, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, replying to a man who complained about the packaging charges on his shawarma box.

This happened when an X user named Anand raised a concern to the food delivery app Zomato about an issue he faced after receiving his order. Anand ordered shawarma from a famous restaurant in Bengaluru and complained that he was being charged Rs 12 for packaging. His food came wrapped with an advertisement for Bengaluru FC, which is an ISL (Indian Super League) football team.

The incident occurred when a customer ordered shawarma from Empire Restaurant via Zomato and paid an extra Rs 12 for packaging. However, the shawarma arrived in a box with Bengaluru FC's logo. The customer took to X, questioning why he was charged extra for advertising the ISL team.

Check Out the Viral Post:

He posted the whole incident on X and wrote, “Hi @zomatocare, I ordered shawarma from Empire Restaurant, Bangalore, and paid Rs 12 as packing charges. But I found that the package is wrapped with @bengalurufc Advertisement. Why do I need to pay for their advertisement? How many orders rolled out with this box for paid users????”

Instead of Zomato, Bengaluru FC goalkeeper and Indian national football team captain, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, saw this post and replied to the man with a touch of sarcasm and humor. He quoted the post and said, “GPay number dedo bhai - wapis karta hoon 12 rupees.”

Users’ Reactions to the Post

One of the users said, “I think you paid for the cardboard box and not for the advertisement on it. It's up to Zomato to decide what branding they want on their packaging.”

Another one said, “Bro, is this the official account?”

A third user said, “Average Konga creating issues as their Chennai team is at the bottom of the table.”
