A horrifying video showing the emergency door of a flight opened mid-air has gone viral on the internet. In the clip captured by a passenger on the flight one can see people sitting inside the airplane with heavy winds blowing. And as the camera pans one can see the missing door. According to reports, Brazilian singer and songwriter Tierry was travelling from Sao Luis to Salvador on June 12 along with his teammates on the Brazilian airline.

Also, in the video, the luggage and instruments can be seen placed near the door which seem to be blown up by the strong force of wind in the small passenger aircraft.

The clip was posted on the microblogging site Twitter by Breaking Aviation News & Videos with the caption  "The aircraft of Brazilian singer and songwriter Tierry safely lands at São Luís Airport after the cargo door opens in flight."

"The Embraer-110 operated by NHR Táxi Aéreo was transporting Tierry and his band members after a show in São Luís, Maranhão, when the incident occurred," they wrote in a follow up tweet.
