The trend of making videos and reels inside Delhi metro trains and stations to share on social media platforms has not yet stopped despite Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) making repeated appeals to commuters to refrain from such activities. Now, a video of a woman dancing to a Bollywood song inside a Delhi metro train has gone viral.
In the clip posted on Instagram, a woman wearing a black top and blue jeans can be seen dancing to Neha Bhasin and Bappi Lahiri's song 'Asalaam-e-Ishqum' with great vigour inside a crowded coach. The woman in the video has been identified as Priya Sharma.
The woman's dance performance generates a mixed response from passengers, with some appearing uncomfortable while others enjoying the impromptu show.

Since being posted, the clip has amassed over 1.4 million views, 42,640 likes and several comments.
"Nice try, but please don't attempt this again," commented one user after seeing he video.
While another wrote, "Nothing wrong with This ..she is doing exactly what she sees in the movies..if any of the Bollywood leading ladies do that or portray that it would not be a problem..but when it translates into your society there is a backlash... hypocrisy at its best".
“The uncle is traumatised,” commented an individual, pointing to a man standing behind her.
Some who watched the video tagged the Delhi Metro and Delhi Police in the comments section.
DMRC had recently appealed to commuters to refrain from making videos and reels inside the metro coaches and stations. Taking to Twitter the DMRC wrote, "Travel, don't cause trouble.''
