Ever since the movie Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling released on July 21, a ‘pink’ campaign has swept social media. Fans are using their creativity to give form to everything that can be related to Barbie and the colour pink. The film has already crossed $750M dollars in worldwide collection. It still continues to trend on social media. Now a Carnatic version of the song 'Barbie Girl' has surfaced online. 


Mahesh Raghvan, who according to his social media bio is a music producer and a performer created a South Indian version of Aqua's 'Barbie Girl' song from 1997. "Here's a Carnatic Mix of Barbie Girl by Aqua!" he wrote in the caption of his post. while sharing it on his Instagram.


Shared just afew days back, the clip has amassed  over a 3 million views, 283,419 likes and tons of comments.
