Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated images are taking the internet by storm. From visualising Delhi battling pollution in the future to imagining Astronauts as brides, artists are flooding social media platforms with AI-generated pictures. An artist has again taken to Artificial Intelligence to create "selfies from the past". Jyo John Mulloor recently posted a series of images on Instagram showing notable people, like Mahatma Gandhi, BR Ambedkar, Mother Teresa, and Elvis Presley, taking selfies.

Mulloor in the post wrote how AI softwares Midjourney and Photoshop helped to create lifelike depictions of the selfies.

"Upon retrieving my old hard drive, I discovered a treasure trove of selfies sent to me by friends from the past. Midjourney Ai assisted with photoshop," read the caption of the post shared by Mulloor.

Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin, former US President Abraham Lincoln, scientist Albert Einstein, Jamaican singer Bob Marley and Argentine Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara, were also among other leaders to feature in AI generated selfies of Mulloor.
