Industrialist Anand Mahindra is an avid social media user and is known for sharing inspiring and funny videos online that instantly become viral. The Mahindra Group Chairman once again captured the attention of social media users by sharing a vintage photograph of a TV set from the 1970s on Twitter.


The text on the image shared by Mahindra read, "My parents had a TV like this ... I remember because I was the remote...".


His post immediately went viral triggering nostalgia on Twitter. Many people could relate to it as most of us was asked to do exactly that by our parents or elders while watching TV. There were very few Television sets during those times that had remote control.


"Brilliant. And I wish the remote was never invented...we would all be a few pounds lighter and more fit!," readthe caption of the post shared by 67-year-old Anand Mahindra.






Since being shared, the post has amassed more than 7 lakh views, over 22,000 likes and tons of comments.


"Same story here too. #GharGharKiKahani Also those were the days when we had to rotate the antenna a bit (a lot) to ensure seamless picture quality. Needless to mention, I was quite an expert at that," wrote one user.
