Business tycoon Anand Mahindra is an avid social media user. He keeps sharing creative, inspirational and motivational thoughts on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, for his followers. This time the Industrialist, who is in New York has shared a post about an Indian snack that caught his attention.
Mahindra stumbled upon a snack packet called the Bombay mixture, a popular type of namkeen enjoyed by Indians, in a store, while roaming the city. What attracted his attention towards the snack was the brand name on the packaging: "Anand."
He took a picture of the mixture and shared it on the microblogging site X with a humorous caption that read, "Encountered in New York. Lawyers tell me I would not be successful in suing for brand violation…"
"Anand" is a widely used name therefore, there are trademark issues sometimes.
Since being shared on X, the post has amassed over 6 lakh views, more than 7,000 likes and tons of coments.
"Haha! Seems like NYC always has its surprises. Sometimes, it's best to take these things with a pinch of humor and move on," commented one user on the post.
"Leave all tensions behind Anand sir Take Anand of taste of Bombay Mixture," wrote another user.
"Believe me those Bombay mixture are tastes amazing ...," commented a third.
While a fourth jokingly wrote, "In that case, you will be sued by rishis and munis coz of "anand", and param"anand".
