You do not need a special occasion to enjoy this savoury delight with sides of green chutney and a hot cup of tea. It is sold in almost every nook and corner of the country and is also priced very reasonably. such is their popularity that even foreigners can’t resist the craving. An American YouTuber want to return to India only to have samosas. Yes, you heard that right, Drew Hick who loved the snack during his stay in India is appalled by the exorbitant price he needed to pay for a samosa at a restaurant in the US and has wished to return to the state of Bihar.
In an Instagram video posted by Hicks himself, the YouTuber can be seen seated in a US restaurant expressing his frustration and complaining about the rates of samosas in fluent Hindi.
"India mein two samosa ka 20 rupees lagega, yaha pe two samosas ka 500 rupya hai. Chalo wapas Bihar chalte hai bhai. (In India, two samosas only cost ₹20, but here it costs ₹500. Let’s go back to Bihar)," says Hicks in the video.
Drew even showed the menu of the restaurant where 2 pieces of samosas were priced at approximately Rs 500.
Since being posted the video has amassed over 4 lakh views, 66,943 likes and tons of comments.
