Deaths due to cardiac arrests are on the rise these days. Recently, an Indore hotel owner passed away after a heart attack while working out in a gym. The CCTV footage from the gym showed the victim, Pradeep Raghuvanshi, abruptly collapsing on the floor, a Business Today report said.

It also showed the victim sweating and becoming breathless after using the treadmill. Later, he was seen taking off his jacket but within minutes he  collapsed. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by the gym trainer and other people, but was declared dead on arrival.

The doctor at the hospital told that a medical checkup should be performed on everybody who want to workout in gym. "It is necessary for an older person to get a checkup done before working out. Nowadays, everyone has started going to the gym. But no protein should be taken without consulting a doctor," he was quoted saying by India Today.

Taraka Ratna collapsed while participating in the launch of the state-wide 'padayatra' of TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh on January 27.
