Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is set to address 41 public rallies from October 15 as part of the party's campaign for the state Assembly elections. With just over 45 days left for Telangana Assembly Elections 2023, Rao is expected to undertake a brisk campaign to woo the votes in the state. The BRS already announced that Rao would release the manifesto of the party for the polls on October 15. 


According to PTI, BRS is set to launch the campaign for the party with a public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district on October 15. 


On Tuesday night, the tentative tour program released by the party said that Rao will address public rallies at Jangaon and Bhuvanagiri on October 16. He will address the campaign meeting at Sircilla and Siddipet on October 17. He will take part in two meetings at Jadcherla and Medchal on October 18, said a report on PTI, citing sources. 


On October 26, KCR is scheduled to attend three rallies and later the campaign is set to go on till November 9. 


On the same day, he is set to file nominations in both Gajwel and Kamareddy segments.


On the other hand, BJP senior leaders including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyothi will take part in the party's campaign till October 19. 


On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah kickstarted BJP's campaign and addressed two public events in the state. 


On October 9, Election Commission of India (ECI) made the official announcement regarding the date for Telangana Assembly Elections 2023. The elections are scheduled to be held on November 30 in a single phase, according to ECI and Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. The counting of votes is scheduled to be held on December 3.
