Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress on Thursday staged a sizable protest against the Enforcement Directorate's interrogation of party leader Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case in Hyderabad.

TPCC president Revanth Reddy led a massive rally from the Indira Gandhi statue on Necklace Road to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Basheerbagh. Later, at the ED office, Congress leaders and supporters staged a dharna. Congress leaders condemn Narendra Modi's government for involving Sonia Gandhi in a false case.

Revanth Reddy stated that vendetta politics by the BJP will not stand on Sonia Gandhi. "We will not tolerate the blatant misuse of power by ED and will fight back until justice prevails," said Revanth.

Congress party leaders have taken up agitations in all states to support Sonia Gandhi. Under the leadership of the Congress Committee chief DK Shivakumar in Karnataka, the party leaders staged a large-scale protest in Bengaluru.
