Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MP A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been misleading the people in the name of English medium education.
According to Revanth Reddy, if Telangana implements the Right to Education Act, disadvantaged kids will be admitted to 25% of seats in all private educational institutions. On the other hand, KCR is not enforcing the Act, although falsely stating that the State Government was already providing 'free education from KG to PG.'
He stated that the state government was not publishing any notices for teacher recruitment. "How can English medium education be provided without appointing teachers?" The TPCC chief questioned.

Besides, it is learned that Chief Minister KCR has recently decided to campaign in support of the Samajwadi Party against the BJP for the Uttar Pradesh elections. At a recent high-level meeting, it was decided that TRS leaders would go to UP and campaign for the elections.
However, Telangana PCC president Revant Reddy responded to the matter. Rewant Reddy said that if TRS campaigned in support of the Samajwadi Party in UP, it would betray the AIMIM party.
Revanth Reddy spoke to the media on Tuesday recalled that AIMIM is competing for over 100 seats in UP. He questioned TRS leaders how they would Support Samajwadi Party in UP while remaining allied with the AIMIM in Telangana.
He criticised that KCR did not care about the people's lives and therefore did not attend a video conference with the Prime Minister on Omicron situation.
