Hyderabad: BJP leader Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, popularly known as 'Teenmar Mallanna', has been facing ire from TRS leaders after making derogatory comments about Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao and body-shamed the minister's son.
In the recent attacks on Mallanna, TRS' Bodhan MLA Mohammad Shakeel Ahmed said he would chop the BJP leader into pieces if he cannot mince his words.
The TRS leader urged the CM and Home Minister Mahmood Ali should imprison Mallanna under the PD Act and should banish him from the state. He further slammed the journalist-turned-politician by saying people like Mallanna should not be allowed to live in a society.
"Teenmar Mallanna is a cheater in Telangana. He blackmailed many people in the state when he was a journalist," said Shakeel.
After facing severe ire from the TRS' Bodhan MLA, Mallanna lodged a complaint against him.
Mallanna was beaten at his Medipally office on Friday night by a few unidentified individuals for his derogatory remarks against the Telangana IT minister.
At least three people entered Mallanna's office and began arguing with him. They resorted to vandalism, causing damage to his office's computers and furniture. One of the accused later attempted to assault Mallanna while disputing with him. However, some individuals in the workplace prevented him, a Police officer stated.
