New Delhi: After Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders staged 'maha dharna' in Delhi on Monday, agitated farmers in Nizamabad's Armoor dumped a pile of paddy in front of MP Arvind Dharmapuri's house. The farmers protested in front of the MP's house demanding the BJP at the Centre to buy the complete stock from them.
In a video, farmers are seen raising slogans against the BJP government standing in front of the Nizamabad MP's house. "I challenge Bandi Sanjay to come to Armoor. See our situation and know how much paddy is being wasted," said one of the farmers in the video shared on the microblogging site Twitter. "If you don't want to buy parboiled rice, why did you ask us to sow paddy?" the farmer questioned Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay in the video.
TRS MLA from Armoor constituency, Jeevan Reddy, mentioned Food and Public Distribution Minister Piyush Goyal in his tweet, saying, "Dear Piyush Goyal Ji, Good Morning. This is the Situation of farmers in Armoor in front of Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri's residence."
