According to the ABP Desam report, the railway track was damaged during the derailment, causing train services to be disrupted. As the speed of the train was low, the locomotive pilot immediately stopped the train. As a result, all the passengers got off the train. Passengers are being cleared in the same train by detaching the derailed coaches.

The South Central Railway has established a special helpline 040-27786666 for any passenger inquiries. Trains on the route were halted, and all other stations on the way to Secunderabad were halted at Bibinagar.

The train, which had left Visakhapatnam at 17.20 hours on Tuesday was scheduled to reach Secunderabad at 05.10 hours. The derailment has hampered train traffic between Kazipet and Secunderabad. The railway authorities were working to repair the track.
