An 11-year-old boy died by hanging while attempting to imitate YouTube videos in Telangana's Siricilla, IANS reported. The Class 6 student was found hanging in a room at his residence in Kishtanaik Tanda of Yellareddypet mandal.
According to the IANS report, the boy was addicted to watching videos on YouTube. On Sunday night, after having dinner, he went into a room with a mobile phone. He locked the room from inside.
When his parents knocked on the door after some time, there was no response. Panicked over this, they broke open the door and found the boy hanging. The boy hanged himself by using a piece of cloth tied to a nail. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
The police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
In a separate incident, a man died by throwing himself under the wheels of a moving bus in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in the Kondapur area. The man, who was critically injured, succumbed at a hospital late on Sunday.
The man, identified as Bisu Rajab (40), from West Bengal, was working at a private company in Hyderabad and is believed to have died by suicide due to personal problems.
Bisu Rajab was seen rushing towards the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus, bending forward, and deliberately throwing himself under the rear wheels. The alert bus driver immediately applied the brakes to avoid further harm.
A passerby who witnessed the incident quickly came to his aid, pulling him out from under the bus. Bisu Rajab was then taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention. However, despite all efforts, he could not be saved, and he passed away while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
