New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a day-long visit to Hyderabad and will be attending an event at the Indian School of Business (ISB). PM Modi will attend the 20th annual celebrations of the prestigious management school. As per media reports, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be giving the event a miss and will not be meeting the Prime Minister. This is the second time in less than four months that KCR will be avoiding a meeting with the Prime Minister.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is set to fly out to Bengaluru to call on former PM HD Deve Gowda and his son HD Kumaraswamy of JD(S), as part of his ongoing tour to rally the third front or like-minded parties against the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

As per the schedule already announced, KCR will reach Bengaluru on Thursday, May 26. He will call on former Prime Minister Deve Gowda and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. The next day, May 27, will leave for Ralegan Siddhi where he will meet social activist Anna Hazare. From there, he will go to Shirdi for Sai Baba's darshan and will then return to Hyderabad.

As per a Times Now report, KCR has deputed minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav to receive PM Modi at the Hyderabad airport.

In February too, Talasani Srinivas Yadav was deputed as minister-in-waiting when PM Modi visited Hyderabad to unveil the Statue of Equality.
