Hyderabad: The welfare schemes implemented in Telangana are being lauded by all quarters and there have been a lot of requests from people of Andhra Pradesh to launch the party in the state after introducing the Dalit Bandhu scheme, said Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, fondly called as KCR, during his speech at TRS plenary at Hitex in Hyderabad on Monday.
"Many people in Andhra Pradesh are asking us to implement the schemes that are being implemented in Telangana in the neighbouring Telugu state. People from other states want Telangana schemes and are also requesting to merge their areas in Telangana. Recently, a BJP MLA from Karnataka's Raichur has requested to replicate Telangana schemes in his constituency," KCR said as quoted by Times Of India.

"Telangana's per capita power consumption is top in the country. Andhra Pradesh is not giving 24x7 power to the agriculture sector, but Telangana managed to achieve it. AP's per capita income is 1.7 lakh crores while that of Telangana is 2.4 lakh crores. Telangana's per capita income is one among the top states in the country," the Chief Minister said according to the report in TOI, reiterating Congress leader's prediction, from the united AP days, that Telangana would be pushed into the darkness.
The CM said that the government was successful in completing all the pending irrigation projects and has delivered as promised. the report further quoted KCR, as he said, "There is a growing trend of reverse migration happening as people from Bihar and Jharkhand are coming to Telangana to work."
KCR implied that it's a win-win situation in Telangana, as his government is able to deliver all the promises and he expressed his happiness that other states look at Telangana as a role model.
