The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted moderate to heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next three days. Meteorological Department officials have predicted that the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is intensifying.


Due to its effect, heavy rains would occur in many districts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Yanam. A surface circulation formed over the northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal. Strong winds are blowing in the lower tropo enclosure.


Moderate to heavy rains will occur in Telangana state on Tuesday. The Regional Meteorological Center (Hyderabad) said that moderate to heavy rains will occur for the next four days.


A yellow alert has been issued on Tuesday for heavy rains in Mancherial, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupapalally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Kamareddy districts. Light to moderate rain will occur in Hyderabad city.






IMD said heavy rains would occur in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Siricilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of Telangana on Wednesday. 


Due to the forecast of heavy rain, the Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert till September 23 and alerted people. 


The Regional Meteorological Center (Amaravati) said rains will occur in North Coastal Andhra on Tuesday. Along with the Srikakulam district Palakonda, Sompeta, Ichchapuram, Eluru district, Konaseema, and Visakhapatnam districts will receive moderate to heavy rains. A warning has been issued for the possibility of thunderstorms. AP Weatherman said there would be heavy rain at one or two places in East Godavari and West Godavari districts.
