Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, the country is progressing in women-led development, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his address at the passing-out parade of the 75th batch of IPS probationers at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad on Friday. He said three new Bills to replace the Indian Penal Code, CrPC and Evidence Act will be passed soon.




 








 

Further, he said, the new laws to replace IPC, CrPC and Evidence Act are aimed at protecting people's rights.

 

According to ANI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, "These 25 years (of Amrit Kaal) are to turn our resolution into success, these 25 years are to make this country reach the first position in every field and to establish the nation on its proper place. The country will become a developed nation and lead the world in every sector in the 25 years of this resolution during Amrit Kaal...,"

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs is examining the three new bills and they will be passed soon, he said.
The new laws are aimed to protect the people's rights, he said.


Noting that the number of women IPS cadets' number is increasing, Shah said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country is progressing in women-led development, as per PTI.
