A minor girl was allegedly abducted by two youths in Hyderabad on Monday (September 12) and was gang-raped for two days. The issue came to light when her parents complained at the Dabeerpura police station on Thursday.


According to the complaint, on Monday, minor girl was allegedly abducted by two youths from the limits of dabeerpura police station. They took her to a lodge in Nampally, where she was intoxicated and made unconscious. It was learned that the youth sexually assaulted her for two days.


The girl was abandoned by the youth at Chadarghat after being kidnapped and harassed for two days. The girl reached home and informed her family members about this, after which they approached Dabeerpura police. The girl has been sent to a trust center.


The police is investigating the matter.

The victim's mother shared the telephone number with the police. The police subsequently arrested the accused from the Rein Bazar area.


Police said both the accused have been arrested and a case under the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Dabeerpura police station. The incident came less than four months after the gang rape of a minor in upscale Jubilee Hills.


Six accused, five of them minor, had trapped the 17-year-old victim after a daytime party at a bar on May 28. Five of them including a major had sexually assaulted her in a vehicle after promising to drop her home.


Five accused, including the son of a leader of ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi, were charged with gang rape while the sixth accused, whose father is an AIMIM legislator, is facing molestation charges.
