YouTube Premium Individual Plan
The new pricing structure is already updated on YouTube's official website. Both prepaid and recurring subscription plans have been affected by this change. The Individual plan, which caters to single users, has seen its monthly cost rise from Rs 129 to Rs 149.
YouTube Premium Family Plan
Family plan subscribers face a more significant increase. This tier, which allows up to five users to enjoy Premium benefits under one subscription, now costs Rs 299 per month, up from its previous price of Rs 189. YouTube Premium Student Plan
Students, while still benefiting from the most affordable Premium option, have not been exempt from the price revision. The Student plan has increased from Rs 79 to Rs 89 per month, representing a smaller but still notable change.
YouTube Premium offers a range of features designed to enhance the viewing experience. Subscribers enjoy ad-free video streaming, allowing for uninterrupted content consumption. The service also enables background play, letting users listen to audio content while using other apps or when their device's screen is locked.
