Say you have captured a beautiful picture, be it of your loved one or a mesmerising scenery, and you want to transfer it from one phone to another. The first thought that might come to a number of our heads will be to share it via WhatsApp. We do that and what do we notice? The absolutely breathtaking picture of ours has lost its charm because the quality of the picture was degraded while transferring. Some of us had a hack around this and we shared high-resolution images with each other after converting them in document format.

WhatsApp resolved this issue and rolled out the option of sharing videos and photos in HD quality but with a small catch. Now, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform is working on improving it further to get rid of that catch. The company plans to roll out this feature with an upcoming update.

How Will This Make A Difference

For the people who are not very aware, they currently need to manually adjust settings for every photo and video before sharing them. But, with this feature, they will see some relief as they won't have to click on HD before sharing every single image or video.

The report stated, “This feature will mark a significant step forward in enhancing the user experience, as it eliminates the need of manually adjusting settings for each media upload individually. With this new option, users will be able to ensure that their images and videos are always shared in high quality, maintaining clarity and preserving important details."

On the other hand, WhatsApp has also recently introduced new text formatting options for its users including shortcuts for creating bulleted and numbered lists, block quotes, and inline code. These recently introduced options are aimed at helping users express themselves better and organise their messages.

These options are available on multiple platforms, including desktop, Android, iOS, and the web version of WhatsApp.
