Twitter appears to be down for some users. As per real-time services tracker Downdetector, the microblogging platform has been seeing an outage since 8:23am IST on Friday morning. It appears that the outage was brief, as ABP Live could verify that Twitter was working fine on both mobile app and Web at the time of writing. However, issues started popping up when users started seeing an error message when trying to load their Twitter feed. This development comes amid reports of mass layoffs slated to kick off today at the company, as Elon Musk plans to make changes to the platform.

Downdetector showed that the biggest outage spike was seen at around 8:23am, when over 130 users reported issues with the platform. As of 10am, the user reports appear to have dwindled down to 103 users.

Judging by Downdetector's outage heat map, users in India have most faced the outage in cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Users reported that when trying to access their feed, they face an error prompt that said, 'Something went wrong, but don't fret — let's give it another shot. Try again.'

As mentioned earlier, the Twitter outage appears to have been brief and limited to some users only. It's safe to speculate that full services should be restored soon.
