OnePlus Pad Go Open Sale Starts On October 20


OnePlus on Wednesday announced that its newly launched affordable OnePlus Pad Go will go on open sale starting 20 October (Friday) at 12 noon. Both the Wi-Fi and the LTE variants of the OnePlus Pad Go will go on sale. Prospective buyers can purchase OnePlus Pad Go at a starting price of Rs 19,999. The affordable Android tab will be available via official OnePlus online store OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience stores and other partner brick-and-mortar stores.


Cyberattack On Israel's Dorad Power Plant False: Kasperky


Security researchers at cyber security firm Kaspersky have said that claims of cyberattack on Israel’s Dorad power plant by hacktivist group Cyber Av3ngers were found to be false. They found no evidence linking Cyber Av3ngers with Moses Staff or Cyber Avengers, despite the similarities in names. The individual behind the Cyber Av3ngers Telegram channel may have been attempting to frame Cyber Avengers as impostors. The data, initially leaked by Moses Staff in June last year, included information from multiple Israeli companies. The data related to the Dorad private power station breach had timestamps dating back to August 2020, while the leaked files' compression timestamps pointed to June 14, 2022. The leak, comprising PDF documents, png/jpg photos, and a video was published by the attackers alongside the data leak.


Promate Budget Smartwatch Launched


Promate on Wednesday launched its new smartwatch, the XWatch-B19 in India. The smartwatch iwomes with a 1.9-inch display and several health and fitness tracking features, Bluetooth calling and more features in the sub-Rs 4000 price bracket. The smartwatch comes with 12 months warranty and it has been unveiled in three colourways. 


Netflix May Increase Subscription Prices


In what may be bad news for Netflix fans, the streaming giant is planning to brings changes that would make users shell out more for its content. The streaming major is likely to hike its subscription prices when it announces its reports, news agency Reuters has reported. The company launched a crackdown on password sharing in several countries, including in India, which apparently worked in its favour.

Israel In Talks With Starlink Satellite Internet Services


The Israel government is in talks with Elon Musk-owned SpaceX to roll out Starlink Internet services, in a bid to help with wartime communications, especially for communities near the conflict zone, ahead of expected ground invasion of Gaza, the media has reported. According to Israel's Minister of Communications, Shlomo Karhi, activity is taking place to coordinate with Starlink in Israel, so that it is possible to operate satellite communication terminals of SpaceX, which will allow connection to broadband Internet in Israel.
