Realme, OnePlus May Exit India TV Market
Handset makers Realme and OnePlus are mulling to exit the television market in India, says a report by Business Standard. Both the companies are owned by Chinese tech behemoth BBK Electronics Corporation which also owns Oppo, Vivo and Iqoo. OnePlus is a subsidiary of Oppo while Vivo's subsidiary is Iqoo. Both Realme and OnePlus are planning to discontinue selling their television panels in the Indian market, the BS report said, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Google May Partner Garmin To Bring Satellite Connectivity On Android
Google is likely to bring satellite connectivity to Android smartphones and it may join hands with US-based wearables major Garmin for that, the media has reported. The tech giant has mentioned that it would bring two-way communications through satellite connectivity to Android smartphones with the Android 14 OS update. A developer named Neil Rahmouni has found code strings in the newest version of the Messages app and according to them, Google may be bringing the feature in collaboration with Garmin.

Cook's fake account was first spotted by 9to5Mac and it has been successfully taken down by Instagram. Several top executives at Apple such as Alan Dye of Human Interface Design and Lisa Jackson of Apple VP for Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives were following Cook's fake Instagram account. The Apple CEO's fake Instagram account was operating under the name "tim.d.cook".
Over 6K EVs In Amazon India's Delivery Fleet
Retail giant Amazon has more than 6,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in its India delivery fleet, making deliveries in more than 400 cities, the company announced. The firm said it is committed to deploying 10,000 EVs in the country by 2025. To transform its network at scale and speed, the tech giant has partnered with local original equipment manufacturers in India, including small and medium businesses, and startups, to create innovative mobility solutions.
Foxconn's Terry Gou Announces Run For Taiwan Presidency
Terry Gou, the billionaire founder of Apple supplier Foxconn, on Monday announced that he will run for president of Taiwan as an independent candidate in the election scheduled for January 2024, reported news agency AFP. He held a long-running political ambition to become the leader of the island country, facing a setback earlier this year when his bid to become the nominee for the January election of the opposition Kuomintang party fell through. As per the agency, in 2019, he stepped down as Foxconn's chief for a failed presidential run.
