Starting Friday (today), users in the EU will see major changes, in terms of their online life as Big Tech companies like Google, Meta-owned Facebook, Microsoft, and Amazon, among others will be subject to a new set of digital regulations that aim to protect European users when it comes to privacy, transparency and removal of harmful or illegal content, the media has reported.

Apple has warned users to not sleep next to iPhones that are being charged, citing health concerns. Online storage platform Dropbox has announced it is ending unlimited Cloud storage. The company has said some users have been "abusing" its policy of "all the space you need". With this, the San Francisco-headquartered company would gradually begin migrating existing customers to the new policy on November 1. 2,152 Cyber Attacks Per Organisation In India In H1
The average number of attacks per organisation in India is 2,152 attacks in the first half of 2023, reflecting a significant increase of 20 per cent (year-on-year), IT security major Check Point Research said. In the first half of 2023, 48 ransomware groups breached over 2,200 victims, with Lockbit3 being the most active, reporting a 20 per cent increase in victims compared to H1 2022. The emergence of new groups like Royal and Play is associated with the termination of Hive and Conti Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) groups.
