Swiggy has rolled out a new feature called Incognito Mode, designed to offer users a private and record-free ordering experience. The new mode is available for both food delivery and Swiggy Instamart, enabling customers to place orders that won’t appear in their purchase history.


The Incognito Mode feature caters to users seeking to make private purchases, whether for planning a surprise, indulging in personal cravings, or discreetly buying items such as wellness products. This mode eliminates the hassle of manually deleting sensitive orders from order history, giving users control over their privacy with a simple toggle switch.


Why Did Swiggy Introduce Incognito Mode?


Swiggy’s latest feature responds to the growing need for privacy in shared accounts, where not every order needs to be visible to family or friends. With Incognito Mode, users can secretly order a birthday cake, an anniversary gift, or even personal items without those purchases showing up in the app’s history.

"Whether you’re ordering a meal or making a quick purchase, Incognito Mode ensures your choices remain private. How To Use Swiggy's Incognito Mode?


Activating Incognito Mode is straightforward; users simply toggle the feature on while placing an order in their cart.


Once activated, a reminder confirms that Incognito Mode is on, ensuring users know their order will remain private.


The order will remain trackable for three hours post-delivery, allowing users to address any concerns before it is automatically hidden from their history.


Currently, Incognito Mode is available to 10 per cent of Swiggy’s user base, with plans to extend the feature to all users in the coming days.
