Samsung Galaxy S25 Leaks: Samsung could be pushing up its typical release schedule for the Galaxy S25 series, according to new leaks. Traditionally, Samsung unveils its Galaxy S series in late January or February. However, this year might be an exception, as a newly leaked survey hints at an early January launch for the upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup.

The source of the leak is a promotional survey that surfaced on social media through a user named IMEI Pham, who spotted it on a Vietnamese platform.

Screenshots from the survey, translated from Vietnamese, indicate that Samsung may announce the Galaxy S25 series on January 5, 2025.

10% Discount On Galaxy S25 Models?

The survey reveals that users who complete it would be eligible for a "10 per cent discount" on the new Galaxy S25 series, redeemable on that specific date. If accurate, this could mean Samsung intends to introduce its flagship models much earlier than in previous years.

Samsung’s timeline has shifted in recent years, with the Galaxy S24 series launching on January 17, 2024, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California. This launch date followed the February 1 debut of the Galaxy S23 series in 2023. An early January release for the Galaxy S25 would set a new precedent, possibly allowing Samsung to gain an edge by getting its flagship models into customers' hands sooner.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: What To Expect

The Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to include the base Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+, and the high-end Galaxy S25 Ultra. Rumours also suggest a fourth model, the Galaxy S25 Slim, might be introduced later, offering consumers a more compact, possibly budget-friendly option within the S25 series.

All models are anticipated to feature the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI enhancements, which are expected to elevate the user experience with smarter and more intuitive features.

Colour options are also drawing interest, with the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra expected to arrive in seven colours and the Galaxy S25+ offering eight colour options, including three shades exclusive to online sales. This wide range of choices may appeal to users looking for greater personalization.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will be launched in the first half of 2025, but specific details remain under wraps. If the January 5 launch date holds, Samsung may soon start sending out official announcements as the new year approaches.
