Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently attended a concert of the Green Day (an American rock band formed in California, in 1987) and praised the performance. He met with the band members backstage and shared a picture along with a congratulatory message. Zuckerberg congratulated the Green Day for the 20th anniversary of American Idiot and the 30th anniversary of Dookie. The tech titan then recalled what significant part the band has played in his life.
While sharing the picture, Mark Zuckerberg wrote, "Amazing Green Day show and huge congrats Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike on the 20th anniversary of American Idiot and 30th anniversary of Dookie. I remember many parts of my life by what new Green Day music I was listening to -- from middle school, high school, and camp growing up to coding early FB to our wedding and more recent times. You guys are legends."

Green Day Performed At Mark Zuckerberg's Wedding For Free
Green Day's lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong confirmed that he played for free at Mark Zuckerberg's wedding. At Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, he said, "Yes. I did perform for free." While talking about Zuckerberg, he said, "He was kind of a Green Day fan, almost in a nerdy kind of way which was really enduring."
At the ceremony, the "American Idiot" singer took the stage to perform "Last Night on Earth" from the band's album 21st Century Breakdown. Before starting, Billie Joe humorously remarked, "Mark wanted me to play this song… this song is one that I wrote for my wife of 18 years -- it better be for her, or I’d be in deep trouble," adding a light-hearted touch before diving into the performance.
