The Lok Sabha Elections are just around the corner and in the run-up, several online surveys are generally conducted, complying strictly with the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) Model Code of Conduct, making sure that the respondents remain anonymous and also withholding results until voting is over. However, some 10 days before the seven-phase polls begin, netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences with unsolicited phone calls that are purportedly asking them to
