iOS 18 Rollout: Apple is launching its latest iOS 18 update for eligible iPhone models starting today, September 16. While the upcoming iPhone 16 series will come pre-installed with the new software when it hits shelves on September 20, users with older iPhones can start downloading the update now.

iOS 18, which was first introduced at the WWDC event in June, brings a host of new features, including significant software updates and redesigns. One of the most anticipated updates is the introduction of Apple Intelligence, although the stable version of this AI-powered feature won't be available until next month.

The AI tools will roll out in a beta version as part of iOS 18.1, with more updates planned in the coming months. However, these advanced features will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. The iPhone 16 series, specifically built with Apple Intelligence in mind, will fully support these AI tools.

Initially, Apple’s AI will be available to devices with Siri set to US English. Over time, Apple plans to expand support for English-speaking regions like the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa by year-end. By 2024, users can expect the AI functionality to extend to languages like French, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese.
