Amazon-backed Anthropic has expanded the availability of its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, Claude, by launching it for Android users. This move follows the earlier release of a free iOS app in May, bringing the AI experience to a broader mobile audience. With this launch, users can now engage with Claude chatbot directly on their Android smartphones and tablets.

The new Claude Android app comes at no cost and integrates seamlessly with Anthropic's paid subscription tiers, including both Pro and Team plans. This integration allows paying customers to use the full range of Claude's features across different platforms. A key advantage of this multi-platform approach is the continuity it offers users. Conversations initiated with Claude can be seamlessly continued across devices, whether using the Android app, iOS app, or web interface.
