Google on Saturday released a new Google Doodle to celebrate the skateboarding events at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 which is being held at Place de La Concorde. In the Google Doodle, a group of birds gathered on a rooftop to cheer their buddy who was seen performing tricks while skating on a pipe. This Google Doodle features the skateboarding competitions, which are divided into two rounds.
The preliminary rounds for men's street skateboarding are set for the afternoon of July 29, with the final round taking place in the evening on the same day. On the other hand, the preliminary rounds for women's street skateboarding will be played in the afternoon of July 28 and the final round will take place in the evening on the same day.
The 2024 Paris Olympics officially commenced on July 26 and are set to run until August 11. Skateboarding was added to the Olympic roster back in 2021 during the Tokyo Games. This addition brought a fresh dynamic to the event, complementing the 28 traditional Olympic sports that have been featured for years.
As the 33rd edition of the Olympics, the Paris Games will host athletes from more than 200 nations. They will compete in a total of 329 events spread across 32 different sports disciplines, showcasing a wide range of athletic talent and international competition.

Google Celebrates Beginning Of Paris Games
Just a day back, on July 26, another Google Doodle was released that celebrated the beginning of the Paris Games 2024. In the Doodle, a number of birds and ducks were seen swimming in the pool and doing actions that represented the sports that will be played at the Summer Games.
Google while posting this Doodle wrote, "This animated Doodle celebrates the 2024 Summer Games, which will be hosted by France."
