On January 26, the Google Doodle commemorates India's 75th Republic Day, paying tribute to the historic moment in 1950 when the nation formally adopted its Constitution, establishing itself as a sovereign, democratic, and republican state.

Crafted by guest artist Vrinda Zaveri, the Doodle offers a unique depiction of the Republic Day parade, showcasing its evolution across various screens over the decades. The stirring Doodle not only showed how India's military might improved over the years, but also showed how technology has also evolved over the years.

Throughout the country, the Indian tricolour unfurls, symbolizing the Republic Day celebrations. In New Delhi, the annual Republic Day Parade unfolds, eagerly anticipated each year. The parade, traversing the three-kilometre Kartavya Path from Rashtrapati Bhawan to India Gate, features grand floats, marching bands, and impressive displays by the armed forces. The nation pays tribute to its courageous soldiers through solemn wreath-laying ceremonies at memorials such as the Amar Jawan Jyoti.
