A major leak has revealed glimpses of Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI ahead of its launch. A number of images have surfaced online which reveal the complete look of the devices in probably all the colour options that they will be hitting the market shelves with. These phones are expected to launch soon, and the official-looking images come from leaker Arsene Lupin.

The leaked images confirm that the Xperia 1 VI largely maintains the design aesthetics seen in its predecessors. This encompasses the vertically aligned triple rear camera setup and the flat display bordered by top and bottom bezels.

Sony distinguishes itself as one of the few manufacturers opting for a traditional design without notches or punch holes. Instead, they house the front-facing camera and dual front-firing speakers within the bezels. On the right side, you'll find the volume rocker, power button, and a dedicated camera button.

At the bottom edge of the Xperia 1 VI, there's a USB-C port, microphone, and SIM card slot. Notably, the top edge retains the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a secondary microphone. The leaked colour options include classic black, deep olive green, and a subtle beige, all sporting a frosted matte finish. Additionally, the images showcase an official Sony case featuring a built-in kickstand and lanyard holes, available in the same colour choices as the phone.

While the overall appearance remains familiar, previous rumours hint at Sony departing from the traditional 21:9 aspect ratio in favour of a more common 19.5:9 ratio. Details regarding the camera system are scarce, although speculation suggests it may be similar to the previous generation.

The Xperia 10 VI stands out as the more playful variant of the two siblings. While it will be available in classic black and white options, the addition of a vibrant pastel blue hue injects a touch of personality into this mid-range model. Leaked images confirm earlier speculations that the Xperia 10 VI will forego the dedicated telephoto lens present in its pricier counterpart. Instead, it may rely on in-sensor zoom capabilities offered by its primary camera.

In terms of design, it features a flat display with bezels and situates the front-facing camera within the top bezel, mirroring the setup of the Xperia 1 VI. However, upon closer inspection, notable differences emerge. Unlike the metallic side frame of its higher-priced counterpart, the Xperia 10 VI seems to sport a different frame material.

The curved edges along the sides are also more prominent. Another noticeable change is the absence of the dedicated camera button seen on the Xperia 1 VI. On a positive note, the Xperia 10 VI retains a headphone jack positioned on the top edge.

Crucial specifications for both devices, including the exact processor, RAM, storage configurations, and detailed camera specifications, are still undisclosed. Additionally, pricing remains a mystery.

Sony recently announced an Xperia event slated for May 17. It's highly probable that both these devices will be unveiled at the event. However, considering Sony's history of delayed market releases, fans in the US and other regions may face a considerable wait before they can get their hands on these new Xperia offerings.
