As we step into 2023, the smartphone industry is also geared up to launch their new smartphones. This month also marks the beginning of the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. We bring you a list of upcoming smartphones that are slated to launch in January 2023.


OnePlus 11


Perhaps the most awaited smartphone of the year, the OnePlus 11 may come with a a design that leaves many impressed. The OnePlus 11 series is slated to launch in the company's home turf China and then in India. January 4 is the slated launch date for China, followed by February 7 launch date in India. The OnePlus 11 lineup could also launch alongside the OnePlus 11R. Some of the expected specs of the device include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 3D curved display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple rear camera, 16MP front camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.


Vivo X90


The Vivo 90 was launched in China recently and according to latest reports and leaks, the smartphone could be launched in India on January 31. This model could be launched alongside the flagship Vivo X90 Pro+. The flagship device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and it is powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 50MP + 48MP + 50MP + 64MP quad rear cameras, a 32MP front camera and a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. 


Moto Edge 40


After being launched in China as the Moto X40, the Moto Edge 40 series is likely to head to India. The smartphone may arrive with all-curved design at the front and rear, along with specifications including a 6.67-inch full HD+ curved OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. There could be a 50MP triple rear camera setup, a 60MP front camera, IP68 durability rating and a 4,600mAh battery that supports 125W fast charging.


Redmi Note 12


The Redmi Note 12 series will comprise mid-budget segment smartphone and may include three models: Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro Plus models. The lineup may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, at least 6GB of RAM, a 120Hz AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support  and fast charging.
