Samsung is set to refresh its fan edition (FE) with the much-awaited Galaxy S23 FE on October 4. The South Korean tech giant has officially teased the launch of its next FE series device via X, formerly Twitter. As reported earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in some regions while other markets will get the model with an in-house Exynos 2200 chipset. It is being said that Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy S23 FE with Snapdragon SoC in India. Some reports say that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE may be unveiled the next day and Samsung Galaxy Buds FE may also be unveiled alongside.


Galaxy S23 FE India Prices And Specs (Expected)


Prices of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may start at $599 in the US and likely at least 699 euros outside of the US, a previous report by GSMArena said. The Galaxy S23 FE may be unveiled in two storage variants: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB for Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999, respectively, in India. It is known that the Galaxy Fan Edition (FE) lineup from Samsung comprises the upper-mid-range segment of smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is likely to be launched in refreshing colour options.

The S23 FE may run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box. The rear camera setup may be dominated by a 50MP primary sensor with support for OIS, coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, there may be a 10MP front-facing camera.


The Galaxy S23 FE will be a successor to the Galaxy S21 FE that was launched two years back. Samsung had skipped the launch of the Galaxy S22 FE edition due to the global chipset crisis.


E-commerce site Amazon India has also revealed the date of launch of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE. The tablet is set to be unveiled on 5 October, a day after Galaxy S23 FE’s launch.

According to famed tipster Roland Quandt (handle: @rquandt), via a WinFuture article, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE could be unveiled in Europe starting at a price of 529 euros (roughly Rs 46,400). The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tab may become available for 699 euros (roughly Rs 61,300), while the 5G variants of the tabs could cost 100 euros (roughly Rs 8,800) more than the base model.


To recall, the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S21 FE was launched in India earlier in July, after several leaks and rumours. The South Korean tech giant unveiled the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S21 FE in India in only one storage configuration. The SD variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
