Samsung is preparing to introduce two new 5G smartphones to the Indian market. The company has hinted at the arrival of the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G through its official social media channels. While the exact launch date has not yet been confirmed, availability details have been revealed. Additionally, Samsung has shared a glimpse of the rear camera design for both devices.

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G, Galaxy M06 5G: India Launch


According to a recent post by Samsung on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will be launching in India soon.






While the company has yet to confirm the official launch date, a promotional poster on Amazon indicates that the devices will be available for purchase through the e-commerce platform.

Samsung has teased the rear camera layouts of both smartphones in its promotional materials.



  • Galaxy M16 5G: Features a triple-camera setup, vertically arranged within a pill-shaped camera island. The module includes two larger sensors in a single cutout, while the third sensor is housed separately in a smaller slot. A circular LED flash is positioned outside the module. The design closely resembles previously leaked renders of the device.

  • Galaxy M06 5G: The device sports a dual-camera setup, also placed within a pill-shaped vertical module on the top left corner of the rear panel. An LED flash unit is positioned next to the camera island, maintaining a design language similar to the Galaxy M16 5G.


Samsung Galaxy M16 5G, Galaxy M06 5G: Specifications (Expected)


The Samsung Galaxy M06 5G, previously spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-M166P, is rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The device is expected to run Android 14-based One UI 6 out of the box.
