Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in the Indian market while also unveiling a dedicated microsite on e-commerce Flipkart to tease consumers with previews of the smartphone's design and colour choices. Expected to launch soon, the Galaxy F55 5G will be offered in at least two colour options, both boasting a vegan leather finish in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.


Galaxy F55 5G May Be The Thinnest Vegan Leather Phone


The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is said to be the thinnest and lightest vegan leather phone of the year, boasting a sleek design complemented by a triple rear camera configuration, with each lens housed within its own distinct circular ring. Enhancing the smartphone's aesthetic, a flashlight is positioned alongside the camera setup.

Although specific launch details and specifications are still undisclosed, there were earlier speculations suggesting that the Galaxy F55 5G would be revealed in the first week of May, with Flipkart being the exclusive sales platform for the device.


According to a report from Gadgets360, a famed tipster has hinted that the device may be offered in various configurations. The entry-level model, equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is anticipated to be priced at Rs 26,999, while higher-tier versions with bigger storage and RAM capacities will likely be priced higher.

Comparisons to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy C55 in China suggest that the Galaxy F55 5G might share similar specifications.


The Samsung Galaxy C55 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, driven by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Notable features could include a 50MP triple rear camera system, a 50MP front-facing camera, and a sturdy 5,000mAh battery with compatibility for 45W wired fast charging.
