Samsung's latest smartphone lineup, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, was introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in San Jose, California, on Wednesday. Featuring the newly integrated One UI 6.1, a custom skin based on Android 14, these devices bring forth a revamped Galaxy AI experience with advanced features such as Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, and Circle to Search.


In a recent development, Samsung has affirmed that numerous older flagship Galaxy devices are slated to receive access to the innovative AI features debuted with the Galaxy S24 series. According to information reported by Android Authority, a range of Galaxy AI features will soon be extended to last year's Galaxy S23 series and the latest foldable models, including the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung, however, has not provided specific details on which Galaxy AI features will be made available across the older devices. The integration of Galaxy AI enhances communication, productivity, and content creation, seamlessly integrated with One UI 6.1.


Notable functionalities include Chat Assist for real-time language translation and tone correction, Google-backed Circle to Search for combined text and visual queries, Live Translate for two-way voice and text translations during phone calls, and Note Assist in Samsung Notes providing AI-generated summaries.

The pricing for the Galaxy S24 series in India starts at Rs 79,999 for the base variant of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Galaxy S24+ is priced at Rs 99,999, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra commands a starting price of Rs 1,29,999. Interested buyers can now place pre-orders for these smartphones in India.
